Session

Two weeks ago the first round of the infamous Mind the Gap-competition went down in Sven Boekhorst's hometown Hertogenbosch. As usual a lot of viewers showed up to enjoy a fantastic show. Romain Godenaire came in first, while Jeremy Kessler (the belgium rock'n roller) became second. Check out the edit which was created by the one and only Jeroem aka Minime from Eindhoven:

Some of you might have never heard of him, while others are pretty familiar with his name. However, Tobi is not that kind of guy filling the rollerblading-media with thousands of edits. But every time you see something of him, then you can be sure it will be hammer-time. It's always a pleasure to watch his skating. This edit you can see below is filled with creative stuff that makes his skating special to us.    Tobi who is actually sponsored by Grindhouse and Arkon just won the Inline Brawl (Amateur) last week. Congratulations dude. Keep it up. See you at the next RTS! Then again: HAMMER-TIME!

First of all, we would like to apologize for this late follow-up report of the rollTogether #10-session. And then second, we really want to thank every single Fruitbooter coming out for the last session.

Of course, we expected a great day and of course we expected a big session, but what then happened in Amersfoort, just exceeded all our expectations:

  • Petrus himself blessed us all with high degrees and beautiful sunshine
  • Amateurs (some of them you might have never heard about before) ripped it so hard that they can’t be seen as amateurs anymore
  • Some „older“ guys proved that skating-skills don’t depend on the age, but more on the physical shape and the devotion towards Rollerblading
  • People don’t mind to take long journeys to be part of the rollTogether-sessions
  • Pro-Skaters bladed shoulder to shoulder with the amateurs
  • All sponsors gave the support we need
  • More than 400 happy Rollerbladers showed that Rollerblading is back in the game and that we are on the right track
