At our last session that happened last saturday (June 5th) we have awarded Joachim Wall with the "Rookie-of-the-day"-title! This up and comer from Sweden shredded the park with unique style and ambition! After the session we had some time to talk to him and he also came up with an exclusive edit. Lean back and read on!

Yo Joachim, it's nice you are taking your time to answer a few questions for rollTogether. Please first introduce yourself to our readers. (Full name, age, sponsors, where are you from)!
Hello, my name is Joachim Wall. I am 22 years old, coming from a little hillbilly town called Finspang in Sweden.

Last week the rollTogether went down at the ZeroOneSix-skatepark and you won the Grindhouse-"Rookie award". How did you experience that session? Did you know you will be one of the candidates that will be able to win the "Rookie-award"?
I think it was a very sweet session. And it's a good concept. I did´t know that i was going to be nominated to win as I just skated and had very fun with great people.

What can we expect from you in the near future? Are you going to visit some more events this summer or attend some contests?
Yes i´m going to the RSC in Copenhagen. Then I don't know. Maybe some more.

What do you think is the idea behind rollTogether? What do we want to achieve?
I think it is to find some talents in different countries and bring them out to the people in the world and to let them know that they are really god at what they are doing.

What are you doing if you are not skating? Any other important things in your life?
I work as a carpenter, playing video games, doing some editing and of course hang out with my girl.

Who is your favorite European Skater? And do you think in a few years you can reach his level!?
I don't know. I don't really have a favorite skater. But if i had to chose one I will say "Chaz sands". He is a very very good skater and I am not sure if I will ever be able to be so good as him, but you never know:)

What we have actually seen from you was very impressive. You seem to be on a good track! Anyways, it was nice talking to you and I hope you continue shredding the way you did at the rollTogether. It blew our mind! Any shout-outs?
Thanks, it was nice to talking to you too. And I will keep on skating hard.
