Well, again this rollTogether started a bit earlier for me than for some others. I was counting down the minutes at work on thursday (19th of november). 9 pm - let's go. Mühlhausen here I come! So after an 3 and a half hours ride I met up with Roland Wander, Janosch Nowak and Chris Klemm and we spent the night building the new GH-obstacles. We arrived at Rolands place around 6 am. 10.30 am the doorbell rang and Rolands mom came in telling us that he wanted money for a package.

DAMN this must be the flyers for the X-Mas Jam. We had no money with us, so we had a huge problem, he told us we have to follow him later or pick up the package at a place which is around 100 km away from mühlhausen. We accepted that as we had no other choice. So we went into Rolands university to get the Grindhouse, Be-Mag and rollTogether stencils realized and everything in there went wrong so we spent way too much time in there, but as we came out there was the UPS guy right in front of us. We couldn't believe our eyes cause this was way too crazy. After getting some money at the ATM right down the street we had to count our change money cause the UPS guy didn't have any change. Roland and I completely blew of our change and we had exactly the right amount of money in our wallets. We were talking and laughing about this crazy situation of luck and fortune for the whole weekend.

We went on, bought coating colour and screws, and drove off to Mühlhausen to prepare the park. As I checked the old „Afterclash Area“, I saw that old caravan and I was absolutely sure that this would be the perfect Be-Mag booth and I spent some time preparing it for its new task. Later that day Jojo Jacobi, Andreas „Gagi“ Wagenblast, Bart Laubsch and some more dudes arrived at the park and we spent hours building, skating, drinking beer and just having a good time. Jojo, Bart, Gagi and the others spent the night at Rolands place together with us, so they had to wait until we leave the park. While we were building the new rainbow-curve-rail (which was an architectural marvel) they took a nap in the warm entrance room of the park. 6.30 am - we're off. 1 hour car drive to Rolands place again. After a few minutes of sleep RollTogether number 12 was about to start. I was more than happy as I saw hundreds of faces I knew and that people from everywhere in Germany and from other countries came to have a nice session and share some time with us. I met some of my best friends, some of the best skaters, some new talents and old friends. It was so nice to see that everybody around enjoyed the park, the atmosphere, the new obstacles and the day itself. It was hard to believe but a lot of people already skated the new curve rail which we built until the dawn. There were sessions going down everywhere in the park and hard tricks were laced at every obstacle, by known and unknown skaters. There were a few guys, who stood out again, with tricks, style or whatever, they just stood out somehow. Jojo Jacobi thought that there were two guys who deserve a special recognition for their skating that day, so Jeremy Kessler and Sacha 'Paco' Lopez got both a Winterclash Wildcard.

Another kid, that stood out somehow was a young-gun from western Germany, Daniel Gourski. He skated quite weel that day and deserved the Rookie of the day award, 200 € from Grindhouse. I think and I really hope, that we will hear more from this kid. Above that we have to mention some more people: Dennis Wolf from Chemnitz killed the new Grindhouse-Box with creativity. His farside alley-op fishbrain couldn’t be topped! Never ever mess with the old Bladers in our community: Old-gun Nicolas „Nacke“ Belka showed that he is not gonna stop blading soon! He busted out some really sweet tricks and for us it was a pleasure to see him skating while constantly having a smile on his face! There was another guy lacing hard shit on the square rail. We have never seen him on a competition or session before, but won’t forget him as he looks and almost skates like Stockwell! (If you guys know his name, send it to us). Etienne Vogel joined us once again. This guy came out of nothing, lacing a fakie 1080 with so much style and ease! As some of you might know, he is the new addition to one of the world’s biggest musicals, called Starlight Express. Good luck with that, buddy! I cannot say too much about the tricks that were blown, or who did what trick on what obstacle, thats what the edit is for, but I can tell you that this Event, was one of my all time favourite RollTogether Sessions and I enjoyed every single moment of it to the fullest! I want to thank every person, that came out for that incredible day, every sponsor, every team-member and friend, especially Roland Wander, Viola Maith, Roland’s mum, Janosch Nowak, Bjoern Pakusa, Andreas Wagenblast, Nicole Susenburger, Monte, Klemm, Michi Hambrock. Thank you for helping out and your overall support! Much love to our full time daddy Lars (Hahahaha You should meet me..). Can’t wait to see your pictures again! Thank you all. See you next time. On a personal note (Olli): Maik, I really have to thank you for being so hypermotivated all the time and helped us getting 450 people in one skatepark...Remember ten sessions back? :-) Kai, I have to thank you on behalf of the whole team. Thank you for putting so much of your time into this six minutes of pure doze! Welcome to the team!
