Germany strengths the rights for inlineskater

From today, you will find a growing count of signs that shows you as inlineskater, where to roll on public roads and/or sidewalks. In the past you and your behavior on public roads was treated as sport and fun toy. Incidents were not covered by insurances and you where not allowed to go on bicycle ways. The government is spending thousands of euros to mount signs that shows you the right way. Now we are placed between pedestrian and cyclists and at least in those areas accepted as road user. (Btw. it is still prohibited to user cyclists roads that don't show you the special "Inline-Skater Frei" sign.)

For me, all those signs and laws doesn't matter, cause I know how to behave and how to handle my "fun toys" and in my opinion one more senseless waste of money and one more half baked embarrasing german law. - Lars
